Lamb of Liberation

We continue with our story of Moses this morning. Moses is obedient to the will of God who sends him back to Egypt to approach Pharaoh asking him to let the Hebrew people leave Egypt. God sends a plague upon Egypt each time Pharaoh resists. On the tenth plague, God sends death upon Egypt killing the firstborn. This is a battle between the many gods of Egypt, whom Pharaoh represents, and Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews. The Passover celebration is explained as the power of God over other gods and Yahweh’s setting free those who place their trust and faith in Him.
