Elements of Life
When God begins to create the cosmos, we see the elements of life in the first five verses. There is the air we breathe in the form of wind, which is the same Hebrew word for Spirit. We see water, darkness, light, and the first day. With these in place, God will continue to create the world in his image. Water is important for life. Jesus comes out of the water after being baptized by John and God Spirit hovers over the water once again and comes upon Jesus. Here is another beginning God creates for us. What new beginnings will you experience this year?
