Changed By the Divine
Jacob’s mysterious encounter with God at the river Jabbok changed him forever. He entered the night carrying fear, regret, and uncertainty, but he emerged at dawn with a new name, a new purpose, and a deeper understanding of God’s presence. Like Jacob, we are often transformed not in the easy moments of life, but in the places where we wrestle with God, encounter others, and discover God’s grace in unexpected ways.
