Worship with Bradley United Methodist Church

Speaking from living Scripture to the cultural context of today

An Inclusive Worship Service

When you worship at Bradley, you can expect a warm welcome, of course. But more than that you will find a worship service that speaks from living scripture to the culture and context in which we live today. Being a part of a community – whether it’s in church, at home, at work, or in our own neighborhood – means valuing one another, being kind to all people, and bringing God’s light and love into the world. That is what you will experience when you worship at Bradley.

Bradley UMC is a Lighthouse Congregation. We offer support and a place to come for healing, peace, and rest from the hardships of life that overwhelm each of us. We will welcome, nurture, and love those who no longer feel welcome in their home church or have no church affiliation at all. There is a place for you here. You are one of us on this journey of faith as we seek to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, being a light to the world overcoming the darkness revealing hope, faith, and belovedness.

Worship Service

Bradley worships with a blend of contemporary and traditional ways. In our readings, with our music, and in the preaching, we respect the wisdom and truth of God’s word and live it out in contemporary ways.

Bradley worships at 9:45 and the service is approximately one hour long. You may enter the church at the Pennsylvania Street entrance or use the accessible entrance on the Main Street entrance.

Sunday Morning Opportunities

Child care is provided 9:30-11:00 Sunday morning. Children through 6th grade are invited to Children’s Time in Room 103, at the Main Street entrance. Children will participate in the Sanctuary for the Children’s Moment, then engage in a short lesson, including crafts and song, with the adult leaders in Room 103.

Adult Sunday School in Room 204 begins at 8:30 am Sunday. Topics change with the seasons of the church. Included for discussion are Lenten and Advent studies, Bible studies, and current event-based studies.
