Sometimes we want to make Jesus’ message easier for people, thinking that would be more attractive. But this often leads to “lowering the bar.” Unfortunately, we also assume this is what young people desire. The good news is that young people are drawn to Jesus and his teachings. By taking Jesus’ message seriously and seeking to live out his teachings as a body of Christ, we invite young people into a story greater than their own with Christ at the center.
