Your Cheatin' Heart
The prophet Jeremiah shares a word from God about Judah’s sin. The people have turned away from the Lord and now worship other idols made with hands. Their hearts are deceitful. That word calls for self-examination and repentance, promising that true joy and safety lie in trusting the Lord rather than in worldly pursuits or false idols. Only God is truly holy. The only way to share in that holiness is by staying close to Him, like a tree planted by a river, drawing life from His endless stream.
