Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” Jesus is giving us a blessing. We were not there to see Jesus alive, crucified, die, be buried and then resurrected. But we do believe he did, and so, we are truly blessed. The joy of Easter is so great, the victory so decisive, the implications so awesome, that the empty tomb is a monument to Jesus’ victory over sin and death. How will you respond to God’s grace?
