"The Lord is near," Paul proclaims. So surely, it's time to be on best behavior. Yet, there is difference and tension between two faithful leaders in the Philippian church. Euodia and Syntyche are women who struggled beside Paul in the work of the gospel. No stronger admonition from Paul about being ready for the Lord than "to be of the same mind in the Lord." Such accord is characterized by rejoicing, gentleness, hope, anticipation, and praying in all things with thanksgiving.
