In the wilderness world of chaos and conflict in which we live, we are pressed to take sides and draw our weapons of war against those who oppose us. Today, we learn how the kingdom of God in Jesus Christ invites us to drop our weapons and embrace God’s promise to us that we are God’s beloved children and heirs to the kingdom of the Prince of peace.
