The Parade: Risking Reputation
Jesus' entry into Jerusalem at the start of Holy Week was a highly symbolic and carefully planned event, not just a spontaneous celebration. It carried significant risks, challenging those in power and escalating existing tensions. This "victory parade" had deep implications and led to serious consequences if you were following Jesus. Even today, following Jesus has its risks.
