The First Dinner: Risking Rejection
Early in Holy Week, a woman’s extravagant act of devotion at dinner causes a stir, met with judgment and discomfort. As we place ourselves in that room, we must ask: Are we moved by her generosity, or uneasy at Jesus’ mention of his death? Does our discomfort mask deeper fears?
