Rev. Cyndi Alte

Pastor of Bradley United Methodist Church

Reverend Cyndi Alte was born in Michigan, and raised in Michigan and Pennsylvania. She has lived in 9 states and currently lives in her 20th house.

Pastor Cyndi has an associate degree in nursing from the University of Evansville; a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Coastal Carolina; an M.Div from United Theological Seminary and a D.Min from Wesley Theological Seminary. She has worked as a public health nurse, served in UMCs in Central Indiana, and as a hospice chaplain.

Cyndi and her husband, Doug, married in 1975. They have a son and daughter; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. They are her joy.

She is inspired by the people of Bradley who are so devoted to living faithfully in this community. They bring such care and joy as they serve in Greenfield and beyond. Within the life of Bradley, she has found people who have great knowledge of the workings of a church. This congregation continues to grow into a fuller understanding of what it means to be and live as the Beloveds of God. It’s such a joy to be in ministry alongside these inspirational people.

From Pastor Cyndi: My hope is that Bradley will fully embrace its distinct place in the heart of Greenfield. There are so many unique ways that a downtown church can serve in their community making both the served and the servers bear the light of Christ into the world. And the people of Bradley are just the people to engage in this kind of ministry.
