While Pastor Steve was bringing the Word and praising God with the congregation in Kisii, the rest of us piled into our two safari vehicles for the seven-hour trip to Kisii.

We traveled west from Nairobi seeing many Masai men herding their cows, sheep, and goats along to grazing lands and waterholes. We drove along the edge of the Rift Valley, known as the cradle of mankind because of the ancient human remains found there.

As we climbed the Hinton the hills toward Kisii, we saw many tea plantations. Pastor Saneta showed us how tea was picked by hand. It is a beautiful land.
