Temptation is Difficult
Jesus’ disciples ask him to teach them to pray. In the church today, followers of Jesus Christ still ask this question. He describes four parts of prayer: 1) What to pray for; 2) The importance of persistence; 3) The certainty of a positive answer because of God’s love and goodness; and 4) The ultimate gift, the Holy Spirit, who is the source and power for all right prayer. We never cease to meet and re-meet temptation in our life. What in Jesus’ teaching on prayer helps you in times of temptation?
